[ Important Information ]  

1. All Heightmaster Ltd delivered Powered Access Training shall comply with the requirements laid down in the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) Training Scheme Operations Manual.

2. Heightmaster Ltd reserves the right to cancel training in the event that the Customers personnel, site and/or equipment do not meet the necessary requirements laid down in the IPAF Training Scheme Operations Manual and/or the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 (HSAW Act 1974) and associated publications. In the event of such a cancellation the Customer will be charged with the full course fee.

3. Heightmaster Ltd reserves the right to extend the period of training in the event that:

           a.   Students are found to be less experienced than declared on the Training Booking Form;
           b.   Students are found not to be at the required test standard in the time allocated for training;
           and that additional training is necessary to bring the student(s) to the required test standard. In            the event of such an extension to the training time being required the Customer will be charged            with an additional daily fee per day or part there of.

4. Heightmaster Ltd reserves the right to cancel training in the event that students are found to be without the personal information/documentation and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) listed on the Training Booking Form. In the event of such a cancellation the Customer will be charged with the full course fee.

5. Bookings will only be accepted and confirmed by receipt of a completed Heightmaster Ltd Training Booking Form.

6. Payment. All course fees are to be settled prior to training commencement or on receipt of invoice. No Certification of Training will be issued until full course payment has been received.

7. All costs/fees quoted are exclusive of VAT.

8. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that all trainees are both physically and mentally fit to attend training. Trainees must be capable of recognising potential hazards and of understanding the limitations of both personnel and equipment.

9. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that all trainees are equipped with the necessary Personal Protective Equipment and Clothing (PPE&C) prior to training commencement and that they have been properly trained in its use, limitations and maintenance requirements.

10. All trainees must be a minimum of 18 years old at the commencement of training.

11. All machines used for the delivery of training and assessments must have a valid Certificate of Thorough Examination.

12. Where training is to be conducted at the Customer’s premises, the Customer is responsible for ensuring that all on-site resources (such as the training room, equipment and environment, refreshment arrangements, toilet facilities, practical training area and machines) meet the standards laid down for IPAF Approved Training Centres. In particular the training room must be large enough to accommodate the number of students attending training; it must have adequate lighting and ventilation and be equipped with a sufficient number of tables and chairs.

13. All trainees are required to achieve the pass marks laid down in the IPAF Training Scheme Operations Manual. Failure to pass a theory test will prevent a trainee from progressing to the practical element of the course. In the event of a trainee failing to pass or complete the course the Customer will be charged with the full course fee.

14. In the event that the Customer requests a cancellation or postponement of a scheduled course, or the transfer of training to an alternative site the following charges will apply:

15. In the event of a postponement or transfer fee being charged, the full fee will be charged at a new course commencement date.

16. Failure of a trainee to attend will be considered as a cancellation without notice and as such the Customer will be charged with the full course fee.

17. Heightmaster Ltd reserves the right to cancel or alter the dates of provision of service, the charges and the individual(s) providing the service.

18. Force Majeure . Heightmaster Ltd shall not be liable for any failure to perform any obligation hereunder when prevented from doing so by an act of God, war, fire, riot or civil disturbance, snow or flood, strikes or other labour trouble, or any other conditions beyond the control of Heightmaster Ltd.
